Her apparent weight loss has been the subject of much speculation, but it's clear Nadine Coyle is thrilled with her new figure.

At the first hint of sunshine today the slender Girls Aloud star shed her jacket to reveal her tanned arms.

Despite the bright March weather, the London air must still have been chilly for the 24-year-old, who is based in the much warmer climate of Los Angeles

She teamed her sunglasses with a woolly hat, skinny jeans and a vest top.

Nadine was heading to Heathrow Airport, after a week of meetings in London as she prepares to launch her solo career.

At the weekend she defended her figure, claiming she had naturally skinny legs.

'I have always had incredibly skinny legs. It's in my family. If anything I have put weight on since the last Girls Aloud tour,' she insisted.

Nadine is known to take regular exercise, and has said she eats 'normally'.

But last year, she shocked diners at upmarket restaurant The Ivy by producing a pair of scales from her bag to weigh out her food.

After measuring out a portion of plain fish with no vegetables, she sent half the dish back to the kitchen unfinished.
